Matisse in the Studio opens this weekend

Where did Henri Matisse get his inspiration? Our latest exhibition reveals the eclectic pieces he surrounded himself with in the intimate space of his studio.

Focusing for the first time on the important role of objects in Matisse’s creative process, we explore how his worldly collection took on new life in his extraordinary art.

5 August – 12 November 2017.
