This is an invitation to the developmental reading of my one act play Lo Mein and Tequila that has been selected for the Spring Reading Sessions by the San Francisco Playwrights Center.

Esta es una invitación a la lectura dramatizada de mi obra en un acto Lo Mein con Tequila que ha sido seleccionada para las lecturas de primavera del San Francisco Playwrights Center.

Lo Mein And Tequila. Two people, both passionately committed to social justice in Mexico, struggle to find themselves and each other through the loneliness and hardships that New York can present to the newly arrived (and not-so-newly arrived)... The moving play has helped all of us to feel the pain and strength of Beatriz and Eduardo.

USA The good job of a floor maid at the Tewksbury Institute

  One of the better stories I have read in a long time. Dr. Frank Mayfield was touring Tewksbury Institute when, on his way out, he accidentally collided with an elderly floor maid. To cover the awkward moment Dr. May field started asking questions. "How long have you worked here?" "I've worked here almost since the place opened," the maid replied. "What can you tell me about the history of this place?" he asked. "I don't think I can tell you anything, but I could show you something." With that, she took his hand and led him down to the basement under the oldest section of the building. She pointed to one of what looked like small prison cells, their iron bars rusted with age, and said, "That's the cage where they used to keep Annie Sullivan." "Who's Annie?" the doctor asked.
