ESPANA: LA PASIONARIA

 On the anniversary of her passing, we remember Dolores Ibárruri aka “La Pasionaria”. She led the Communist Party of Spain during the Spanish Civil War, known as the most inspiring orator of the period, especially her ¡No Pasarán! speech. She motivated the workers militias and played a leading role in government and the Communist Party during Spain’s most difficult times.
